Duties & Responsibilities

How do we ensure stakeholders accept their responsibilities?

When invited into a project on Mosaic, all participants are asked to confirm their acceptance of their responsibilities and that they possess the skills, knowledge, experience (SKATE) and, where relevant, the organisational capability to carry out this work.

We display a different set of responsibilities, which a user must accept when invited into a project, dependent on their Role.

We record their acceptance of their responsibilities and invite them to participate in the Hazard & Risk Identification (HARI) for that project. Should they deny their responsibilities they will not be asked to take part in the HARI and they will have no input on the resulting risk assessments.

Here is how the responsibilities appear for a user logging into a project for the first time;

When a user is invited to a Project on Mosaic, they will not be considered to be properly Appointed until they have accepted their Duties and responsibilities. Until they do so they will appear in the Invitees list on the Project Directory rather than the Project Team list.
